A cloak is a cool hostmask on Freenode that shows to the world (well, at least IRCers) that you are a KDE developer, and thus a very cool chap indeed. I bet it also makes you more appealing in the eyes of the opposite gender. Unless you're male.

You must have an svn account for this. That is the only requirement.

Instructions

Send me an email with the following information.

Please sign your email with GPG if you are in the KDE keyring. (Don't worry about it if you're not.)

Next time you identify on freenode, you will be @kde/svnname if you are a member of the e.V., and @kde/developer/svnname otherwise.

I will generally handle this when I get around to it, which depends on when one of the freenode staff members are around to actually do it, as it's not yet automated.

It is best to get your nickname to identify automatically. You can do this by specifying your nickserv password as your irc password (as in, irc-protocol login password).
